Who Can Participate

ODR services are available to:

Active duty and retired military members and their dependents
Reservists and National Guard
DoD and NAF employees
Base-assigned contractors

EQUIPMENT RENTALS

Reservations
- Campers: Reserve up to 90 days in advance
- All other items (trailers, bouncy castles, grills, etc.): Reserve up to 30 days in advance
- Rentals are first-come, first-served
- A one-day rental fee is required at booking
- No refunds for cancellations within 72 hours or missed pickups
- Late returns (after noon, Mon–Fri) incur fees
- ODR is not responsible for weather or other conditions preventing use
Condition of Equipment
- Inspect items before leaving; note any damage on your receipt
- Items are assumed serviceable unless documented
- All rentals must be returned clean and dry (tents, grills, coolers, etc.)
- Travel trailers must be vacuumed, cleaned, and tanks emptied before return
- Customers are responsible for repair or replacement costs due to loss or damage

PARKS

Arnold Park

Located at the end of Coliseum Drive, Arnold Park offers:

Playground equipment
Covered picnic areas
A staging area
Restrooms

It’s a favorite spot for community gatherings during spring and summer and is also available for private rentals.

Branch Memorial Park

Found near South Base off Lancaster Boulevard, this park features peaceful picnic areas and the scenic Branch Pond. Dedicated on May 24, 1968, it honors Major General Irving Lewis “Twig” Branch.

Rentals

Both Arnold Park and Branch Memorial Park can be reserved through Outdoor Recreation for $35.

RIDING CENTER/STABLES

The Edwards AFB Riding Center offers affordable horse boarding for active duty military, DoD civilians, retirees, and their dependents.

Monthly Stall Rental: $90 for the first horse, $60 for each additional horse
Emergency Cleaning Fee: $100

All horses must complete a minimum 10-day quarantine and have a current Coggins Test as well as up-to-date immunizations. Please contact Outdoor Recreation (ODR) before bringing a horse on base.

RV STORAGE

Our RV Storage Lots feature 362 spaces ranging from 20’ to 50’. Each guest may reserve one space. Recreational vehicle storage is essential since parking RVs in military family housing is prohibited. These lots ensure active duty members living on base have a secure place to park their RVs in compliance with housing rules.

All Others:

• 35’–50’: $55

MOBILE AXE THROWING

Bring the thrill to your on-base parties and squadron events! Our mobile axe-throwing trailer delivers safe, high-energy fun for groups of all sizes.

$175/hour (2–4 hour rentals)

Registration Fees (valid 1 month from issue):

Motorcycles: $15
Cars, trucks, and vans: $25
Campers and trailers: $40

OTHER SERVICES

UPS Shipping: We are an authorized UPS shipper, with service available during all operating hours.

Key Cutting: Keys can be cut for most locks, including foreign and domestic cars, for $1.50 each.

EDWARDS AFB FAMCAMP

No reservations accepted.
Guests checking in after hours should complete the registration forms located next to the drop box and leave payment. Contact ODR at 275-CAMP during the next business day to complete registration.

Rock Climbing Wall

$10 per person

Climb your way to the top on our 30-foot outdoor rockwall, located outside the Oasis Aquatic Center! Open to single climbers and groups, all skill levels welcome.
