Services Offered: Base in-processing for units without a CSS, Line of Duty (LOD) case processing, duty status updates, dependency updates (marriage, divorce, child), SGLI guidance, citizenship information
Getting Your Common Access Card (CAC)
Recent changes affect the primary identification requirements at the CAC/DEERS office. CAC cards, expired or not, can no longer serve as a primary or secondary form of ID.
• Members must present two valid forms of identification: either one primary and one secondary or two primary.
• If a member’s identity documents have been previously scanned into DEERS, they may be used as valid identification.

• INS Form I-151 or I 551
• Family Member USID ID Card
• U.S. Passport or Passport Card
• Driver’s License
• ID card issued by a U.S. state or possession, containing a photograph
• Foreign Passport
• Foreign National ID with photograph
Secondary Identification
• INS Form I-151 or I 551
• Family Member USID ID Card
• ID card issued by a U.S. state or possession, containing a photograph
• Photo ID Card issued by federal, state, or local government
• U.S. Social Security Card
