Rosburg has everything you need to get and stay in shape. There is every type of equipment you could need, free weights, resistance weights, cardio machines, Pilates balls and mats. The men’s and women’s locker rooms provide showers and plenty of space for changing. There are also two racquetball courts, an outside track, and basketball courts. Fitness and Sports has more than workouts in store. There is also a Personal Trainer and a Massage Therapist.


August 22 & 23

Alpha Warrior Battle Rigs and Battle Stations provide a new, exciting way for Airmen to work out, build unit cohesion and promote a sense of community with fellow Airmen and families. Alpha Warrior designs state-of-the-art obstacle race equipment called Battle Rigs and Stations. These multi-station devices enhance functional fitness training in individuals and teams. These battle rigs train participants’ muscles to work together interdependently while making strategic choices. These challenge stations compare to the popular television competition show – American Ninja Warrior.

Run with History Half Marathon, 10K & 5K
October 14.
Calling all runners! Blaze by various past, present and future aircraft on multiple Edwards AFB runways,  including the World Famous “Rogers Dry Lakebed” with static displays and historical markers along the route. All runners will receive a participation medal and a souvenir t-shirt included in their low registration fee*.

Are you a certified personal trainer?
The Rosburg Fitness Center is currently looking for Certified Personal Trainers with at least 100 hours of individual fitness program experience to include fitness assessments, cardiovascular and strength conditioning programs. Certification must be current and include First Aid certification and either BLS/AED or CPR/AED certification. Please contact Mr. Peter Smith 275-4961.

Love to run or need to run more? Try running the 958 miles of the California Coastline! Log all of your Edwards running mileage at the front desk of Rosburg Fitness Center. Participants who reach the 958 mile mark (from Crescent City to Imperial Beach) will join the exclusive “Run the Coast of CALI” running club and receive the t-shirt pictured below! This program will be ongoing, so you can start logging your mileage at any time Stop by the front desk of the Fitness Center or call 275-4961 for more information!

The Edward’s Intramural Sports Programs are designed to promote organized competitive sports and develop camaraderie between base units. Tournaments are held on a regular basis.
