Our professional and friendly staff is readily available to assist our guest’s and ensure their accommodations are the best and most comfortable during their visit. We have VQ suites that are separate bedroom and living room areas and two and three bedroom TLF’s suites with fully functional dining areas and kitchens to meet all the comforts of home for families. We also have Pet TLF suite accommodations to meet the needs of our guest’s traveling with pets. All suites are subject to availability and reservation can be made 24 hours to 120 days in advance.

Eligibility: All personnel on Official Travel or TDY orders, active duty, ANG/Reserve and Retired military members with a valid DoD ID Card and their guests are authorized lodging accommodations in the following priorities:
- Priority 1: All personnel on official travel or TDY orders, family members on PCS in/out travel orders or traveling through enroute to their final destination.
- Priority 2: Space Availability travelers

The High Desert Inn is the perfect solution for our guests who don’t feel like making the long drive to their residence off base, after a long day or multiple days at the golf course or attending a special function at Club Muroc (both within short walking distance) or you spent long hours at work and just don’t feel like making the drive home. Space Available reservations can be made 24 hours to 120 days in advance based on availability or just stop at our front desk and see if we have a room for you. We can provide the most comfortable accommodations and ensure you get home safe; your safety is our #1 Priority!

RENOVATIONS AND UPGRADES
Air Force Lodging is always striving to improve all Air Force Installation, Lodging operations in order to stay current with the latest Hospitality and Hotel industry standards. The High Desert Inn received a $500K commitment for FY18 which will fund a renovation project to upgrade our Visitors Quarters and Distinguished Visitors Quarters in building 5601. Our guests will see enhanced upgrades and a new and entirely different look with the latest contemporary styles to include carpeting, curtains and furnishings.
HIGH SPEED INTERNET
The High Desert Inn provides Wi-Fi in each room and a business center that is open 24 hours. The business center provides computers, printers, and LAN internet access. We also provide faxing capabilities at our front desk.
If you’ve had a long, hard day and don’t feel up to making your way to Rosburg Fitness Center and would like to have limited privacy without the crowd, the High Desert Inn offers a limited number of cardio machines in our Cardio Fitness room, available 24 hours a day in building 5601 and 5604.
SUNDRY ITEMS FOR SALE AND CLOSE RESTAURANTS
Need a little quick snack and don’t feel making a trip down the road to the BX or base shoppette? The High Desert Inn offers a limited Sundry Sale service that includes personal hygiene and grooming items, microwavable entrees, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage, candies, chips, etc all available at our front counter. Just ask our friendly clerk at the front desk and they will gladly lend their assistance.
The High Desert Inn is also located within walking of our Golf Course and Club Muroc eating establishments. The Golf Course Snack Bar offers an expanded breakfast menu and short order menu available throughout the day. Club Muroc offers a sit down dining atmosphere for lunch and dinner.
